Terms of Service
Last updated: September 19, 2026 • Effective date: September 19, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Nepchat. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Nepchat. They work together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards.
1. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nepchat, and at least 18 to go LIVE, sell on the shop or withdraw money. Give us accurate details and keep your password to yourself — everything done from your account is treated as done by you.
Verification (KYC) may be required before you withdraw earnings or register a business. We may refuse or undo a verification if the documents are not genuine.
2. Coins and Balance
Coins are a prepaid feature of the app. You buy them through Google Play (or another payment method we offer) and spend them on gifts, tips, paid posts and other features. Coins have no cash value, cannot be exchanged back into money, and cannot be transferred between accounts except through the features inside the app.
Balance is what a creator earns in US dollars when someone spends coins on them, and it is the only part that can be withdrawn. Nepchat keeps a service share of each transaction; the current split is shown in the app before you send or receive anything.
Withdrawals need an approved identity check, a verified payout account and a one-time code sent to your phone. We may hold or reverse a payout while we investigate fraud, chargebacks or rule-breaking.
Purchases are handled by the store you bought from (for example Google Play) and their refund rules apply. Coins credited by mistake, by a failed payment or by abuse may be removed.
3. The shop
Sellers must register their business with its PAN/VAT number, the owner's identity document and a cancelled cheque of the business bank account, and may only sell goods they are legally allowed to sell. Nepchat verifies these papers before a store becomes public.
The contract for an order is between the buyer and the seller. Nepchat provides the platform, keeps a commission per category (shown to the seller before they list), and settles money for orders paid online. Sellers are responsible for stock, delivery, invoices, warranties and any tax they owe.
Buyers pay either in cash on delivery or online to Nepchat. For online payments the seller is paid after delivery, minus the commission.
4. LIVE, posts and other content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting you give Nepchat a licence to store, show and distribute it inside the app so the service can work (for example showing your reel to other users), and nothing more.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything illegal, sexual content involving minors, nudity, violence, hate, harassment, spam, scams, or material you have no right to use. The Community Guidelines explain this in detail and apply to LIVE, posts, reels, stories, chats and shop listings.
5. Enforcement
If the rules are broken we may remove content, issue a strike, pause monetisation, suspend or delete the account, and withhold earnings connected to the abuse. Serious cases (child safety, fraud, threats) are reported to the authorities.
You can appeal from Support in the app. You can also delete your own account at any time from Settings; some records are kept when the law requires it, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. The service itself
Nepchat is provided as it is. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will never be unavailable or free of errors, and we are not responsible for what other users do. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
We may change these terms as the app grows. When a change matters we will tell you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use Nepchat after that means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
7. Contact
Questions about these terms: nepchatofficial@gmail.com, or Support inside the app.
