Last updated: September 9, 2026 • Effective date: September 9, 2026

Zero Tolerance Policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Nepchat maintains a strict, non-negotiable zero-tolerance policy toward any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE). We strictly prohibit creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, soliciting, storing, or promoting content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors.

1. Prohibited Conduct & Content

To safeguard young people and maintain a secure community, the following behaviors and materials are strictly prohibited across all areas of Nepchat (including posts, reels, stories, direct messages, comments, user bios, and media uploads):

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Visual, simulated, or computer-generated depictions of sexual activity or sexualized nudity involving a child or minor (under 18).
  • Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE): Any solicitation of intimate images or videos from minors, financial or emotional extortion (sextortion), or sexual coercion.
  • Predatory Grooming & Interaction: Initiating, engaging in, or facilitating predatory communication or grooming behaviors directed at children or adolescents.
  • Facilitation & Trafficking: Promoting, coordinating, or distributing links to external websites, groups, or services that trade or disseminate child sexual exploitation material.

2. Moderation, Detection & Enforcement

We employ a multi-layered enforcement strategy to identify and eradicate violations:

  • Immediate Content Removal: Any confirmed or suspected CSAM/CSAE material is instantly quarantined and permanently removed from public view and internal storage.
  • Permanent Account Termination: Violating accounts are permanently banned without prior warning. Associated IP addresses, device identifiers, and telephone numbers are permanently blocked from creating new accounts.
  • Automated & Human Review: We utilize automated filtering algorithms and dedicated human moderation workflows to review user reports and proactively inspect flagged media.

3. Reporting to Law Enforcement & NCMEC

In accordance with international safety regulations and Google Play developer standards, Nepchat cooperates fully with global law enforcement bodies and child protection agencies:

  • NCMEC Reporting: We report all detected instances of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline.
  • Law Enforcement Referrals: Where there is an imminent risk of harm to a child, we immediately escalate evidence and associated identifying information to relevant national and local law enforcement authorities.
  • Data Preservation: As permitted and required by applicable law, digital audit logs and evidence are preserved securely to facilitate official criminal investigations and legal proceedings.

4. How to Report Child Exploitation or Abuse

We empower our community to report any harmful content or suspicious behaviors immediately:
